Shipping & Returns
Sending Magic Your Way ✨
At Little Luminaries, we lovingly prepare and ship all orders from Australia. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how your parcel travels from our hands to your home, whether you're just around the corner or across the globe.
🌏 International Orders & Customs
We do not currently ship internationally. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight.
Please note:
- All international orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes in your country.
- It’s your responsibility to complete any customs paperwork.
- If you decline to pay import duties or fail to complete customs paperwork, and your parcel is returned to us, the return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
- Items must be returned in their original condition to be eligible for a refund.

🕒 Processing Times
All potion kit ingredients are handmade with care. Please allow:
- Up to 10 business days processing time (check the banner on our homepage for current timeframes)
🚚 Dispatch & Shipping Times
We ship parcels Monday to Friday, with collections between 12–1pm AEST.
You’ll receive tracking via email once your order is on its way. Please double-check your shipping address at checkout (especially if using ShopPay), as we can’t take responsibility for incorrect or outdated addresses.
✨ Need It Fast?
- Express Shipping (Australia): $19.95 AUD
Please note: this speeds up delivery, but not production time—please still allow 5–7 business days for your item to be made. - Express International Shipping: Calculated at checkout by weight.
Once the parcel leaves Australia, tracking will transfer to your local postal service (e.g. USPS in the US). Use your local carrier’s website to track your parcel from there.
🇦🇺 Domestic Shipping (Australia)
- All orders are shipped via Australia Post.
- Tracking is provided on all parcels.
- Delivery times vary by region.
- We are not responsible for any postal delays, but we’re happy to assist you in contacting Australia Post if needed.
📦 Pre-orders
If you order a pre-order item, your entire order will ship once the pre-order item is ready.
Need your other goodies sooner? Just place a separate order for in-stock items.
💸 Currency
All prices on our website are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). You can switch to your local currency using the dropdown on our site, but the final checkout will process in AUD.
📬 Unclaimed Items
Keep an eye on your tracking! If your parcel is returned to us because it wasn’t claimed:
- You will be refunded minus the original and return shipping costs.
- If your order qualified for free shipping, we will deduct a standard $15 shipping fee from the refund.
🌍 Duties, Taxes & Customs
Every country has different rules. It is your responsibility to know whether taxes or duties apply to your order.
If you refuse to pay taxes or duties and your parcel is returned:
- Shipping and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
- Refunds are only given if the product is returned to us in its original condition.
💫 Returns & Damaged Items
We hope you love your order! Because our products are made-to-order, we do not offer returns for change of mind or incorrect information provided during checkout.
If there’s an issue with your order on arrival (damaged, incorrect, or faulty), please contact us within 5 days of receiving your parcel at hello@littleluminaries.com.au We’ll be happy to resolve the issue with a refund or exchange.

Our letters are currently available for:

Can I gift a Fairy Letters subscription?
Absolutely! You can purchase a subscription as a special gift and the first letter will include a welcome note explaining the magic of their new fairy friend.
Can siblings share a subscription?
Each child forms a unique connection with their fairy, so we recommend individual subscriptions. However, families with multiple children can subscribe separately, ensuring each child gets a fairy tailored to them or choose our family subscription package.
Delivery & Access
When will my child receive their first letter?
-When you subscribe, your child will immediately receive a special introduction letter from their chosen fairy, and all subsequent letters will be sent out on the 15th of each month.
-Physical Letters: Posted out on the 15th of each month or the next business day.
-Digital Subscription Letters: Available via email on the 15th of each month.
How are the letters delivered?
-Physical Subscription: A beautifully printed letter in a personalised envelope, delivered by mail.
-Digital Subscription: A PDF version of the letter sent via email, perfect for printing at home.
What if my letter hasn’t arrived?
Please allow a few extra days for postal deliveries, as times may vary. If you still haven’t received your letter, contact us, and we’ll ensure a replacement is sent.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Not yet! While we don’t currently offer a way for children to send letters back, we encourage them to imagine their fairy’s response or express their thoughts through drawings or journaling.
